Message from the Teacher

I have been the Director and Owner of Music Dynamics of Sussex since 2001. I began Independent teaching piano and voice in 1992. Currently, there are 9 other teachers under contract with my studio. I am certified to teach Musikgarten programs for early childhood music classes as well. I attended Susan Ogilvy's Keyboard Ensemble Technology Seminar to learn ensemble teaching on the Yamaha Clavinova. I have always taught a mixture of group and private lessons. Most of training and skills have started with regular attendance at MTNA and WMTA conferences where I have met and done workshops with Yamaha Clavinova retailers and educators from across the country. I love to learn and I bring that passion to my teaching. I believe music is a social art. I take an empathetic approach with students of today and their lifestyles. A solid foundation and creative experiences builds confidence and enjoyment of musical pursuits.
