WMTA Annual State Conference

The Wisconsin Music Teachers Association conference is held annually in the fall at various locations in the state of Wisconsin.  Our two-day event typically includes programming such as numerous workshops and presentations, performances, awards banquet, Friday evening recital, conference guest artist, teaching demonstrations, and other WMTA get-together events for colleagues and friends. Members and non-members have an opportunity to participate by submitting proposals for presentation. Collegiate members present 20-minute presentations or posters on a variety of research topics.

Four great reasons why YOU should attend the WMTA conference:

Educational opportunities. No matter how experienced you are at your business, everyone can learn. Working as an independent music teacher can often be isolating, and without exposure to a variety of points of view, we can miss new ideas and trends that can impact future results.

Networking with peers. The WMTA annual conference provides our members with a wonderful opportunity to network with peers and colleagues.

Encounter new teaching materials and products. Discovering innovative products and services for your business is necessary to stay competitive in today’s fast-paced world.

Position yourself as an expert. When you are active in WMTA, you can develop a reputation as an expert to your peers, students, families, and community.
