Message from the Teacher

Cynthia Duszynski is a graduate from Carroll College with a Bachelor’s of Music and Piano Pedagogy degree. Her touring background as a pianist/vocalist has taken her to Italy, Austria, Romania, Hungary and various cities in the United States. Ms. Duszynski has been a private piano teacher for 45 years with her involvement in the National Guild of Piano Teachers, Music Teachers National Association, Associated Piano Teachers, National Federation of Music Clubs, Wisconsin Music Teachers National Association and the Wisconsin School of Music Association. Cynthia tours the United States as an adjudicator for various concerto and piano solo competitions as well as perform as a vocalist/pianist in different venues and is on the Wisconsin Music Teachers Association Lecture Circuit. She is the president and founder of LOVE P.A.T.S Community Outreach Program, which has raised more than $75,000.00 to put digital pianos in Children’s Hospitals across America, including the Family Hospital in Madison, Wisconsin. She currently has 18 students as music majors throughout the United States and received the recipient of the year award for 2011 by the Milwaukee Symphony Orchestra and the Civic Music Association as the Outstanding Private Music Teacher of the Year. Cynthia is both state and nationally certified through the Music Teacher’s National Association. In her spare time, Ms. Duszynski enjoys cooking, traveling, spending time with her husband, two children and riding their horse, Carter.
